FC - Quality tested

Application Notes:

Additional reported applications (for relevant formats) include: Western Blot1.

Recommended Usage:

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤0.25 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

T cell receptor (TCR) is a heterodimer consisting of an α and a β chain (TCR α/β) or a γ and a δ chain (TCR γ/δ). TCR-β is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and a component of the CD3/TCR complex.  The CD3/TCR complex plays a key role in antigen recognition, signal transduction, and T cell activation.  V β 11-bearing T cells are largely absent from strains of mice that express MHC class II molecule I-E.  It has been demonstrated that the expression of I-E molecule is necessary for the clonal deletion of V beta 11-bearing T cells, but not sufficient for the clonal elimination of V beta 11-bearing T cells.

Other Names: TCR Vβ-11, V beta 11 TCR, Vβ11 T-cell receptor,
Structure: A member of Ig superfamily, heterodimerized with α TCR α chain, and associated with CD3 complex.
Distribution: Subsets of T cells and thymocytes.
Function: Antigen recognition.
Ligand Receptor: Antigens
