Recommended Usage:

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤0.06 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Description:

Vα11 T cell receptor (TCR Vα11) is a variant of TCR α chain and, along with TCR β chain, forms the TCR heterodimer. In association with the CD3 complex, TCR α/β is responsible for antigen recognition through the interaction with MHC-peptide complex to initiate the T cell-mediated immune responses. The RR8-1 antibody is specific for b and d haplotypes of TCR Vα11.1 and Vα11.2, but not for Vα11.3. It does not react with a and c haplotypes of TCR Vα11.

Structure: Member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, Vα11 is a variant of the TCR α chain which associates with the TCR β chain to form the TCR heterodimer.
Distribution: Subset of TCR αβ+ T cells.
