The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody.
Storage & Handling:
The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C, and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
FC - Quality tested
Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: in vitro blocking of antigen-induced proliferation of Vβ13+ T cells 1 and in vivo depletion of Vβ13+ T cells1.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤1.0 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Vβ13 T cell receptor (TCR Vβ13) is a variant of TCR β chain that along with TCR α chain forms the TCR heterodimer. In association with the CD3 complex, TCR α/β is responsible for antigen recognition in the MHC-Peptide complex and initiation of T cell-mediated immune responses. The most frequently β chains found in the immune response to myelin basic protein (MBP) in B10.PL mice are Vβ13 and Vβ8.2.
Vβ13 T-cell receptor, T cell receptor beta 13
Member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, Vβ13 is a variant of the TCR β chain which associates with the TCR α chain to form the TCR heterodimer.
Expressed on a subset of TCR αβ+ T cells.
Recognition of peptides presented by the MHC molecules, responsible for T cell mediated immune responses.
