FC - Quality tested

Recommended Usage:

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤1.0 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Mouse Dectin-1-transfected cells were stained

Mouse Dectin-1-transfected cells were stained with purified anti-mouse CD369 (Dectin-1/CLEC7A, clone RH1) (filled histogram) or rat IgG1, κ isotype control (open histogram), followed by anti-rat IgG FITC.

CD369 (Dectin-1), also known as CLEC7A, is a 43 kD type II transmembrane protein.  The extracellular portion of Dectin-1 contains one C-type lectin domain, and its cytoplasmic tail has one immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM). Dectin-1 binds β-1,3-linked and β-1,6-glucans (abundant in the cell wall of fungi and yeast), mediates phagocytosis, and induces cytokine production and oxidative burst. It is also involved in TLR2-mediated NF-kB activation. Dectin-1 is expressed by macrophages, neutrophils, dendritic, and Langerhans cells.
